Good General Contractors - Are they hard to find?

It is rare to find a good general contractor.  All to often building contractors avoid more traditional areas of adverting.  This make it hard to find a local contractor that you can trust and is available.  Word  of mouth seems too be all too silent when your are in need of a repair.  There is never a need to contact a construction company for small jobs, just someone local and present. Whether you need a roofer,  plumber or electrician, it would be nice to know that you could go to one place online and find someone.  We have compiled a city listing and local yellow pages representing contractors in your area.  Let us know what you think.
